a woman on the edge

A new name for the Blog "A Woman on the Edge" On the edge of what I am not sure, but like all of us. I am a woman wearing many hats in this life and my goal is to work toward achieving them all. Perhaps I am on the edge of enlightenment, perhaps on the edge of disaster ~ who really knows? But i am on the edge and willing to step off and see what happens, Come with me.....

Auction of the Felted Sheep

Well today Crimson went to Auction… it was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, a fresh morning breeze, great food and lots of people. It was going to be a great day!

There were about 29 sheep in the pens on display for the patrons, ready to be auctioned and awaiting their new owners. The auction got underway at 2pm. Each sheep was numbered and displayed for the crowd and the auctioneer was in business. Each purchaser was able to choose the local organisation the money would be donated to.

Our Felted Sheep

Our latest craft project Meg and i have been working on has been alot of fun. Members of our community were invited to decorate a sheep to raise money for the community. We had to call and ask for the wooden sheep cut out, which was delivered and we were free to choose how we decorated it.
